Moving from ComplyHero to Cerivo Advance: FAQ

This article addresses frequently asked questions about the move to our new learning platform Cerivo Advance.

About Cerivo Advance

1. Why is ComplyHero becoming Cerivo Advance?

ComplyHero is becoming Cerivo Advance as part of our move to Cerivo, which brings our solutions together into one connected GRC platform.Cerivo Advance is our new learning platform. It provides a simpler experience for learners, better visibility for managers and administrators, and more opportunities to automate enrollments and reporting. Your course content will continue to be developed and maintained by our in-house legal and IT security experts.

Preparing for the move

2. What do we need to do before November 30?

The most important thing right now is to prepare your learners for the November 30 deadline. We recommend checking which courses need to be completed in 2026 and which learners currently have courses in progress. Those courses should be completed by November 30 where possible.

3. Do we need to recreate our users, departments, or courses?

No. We’ll take care of migrating your users, departments, and courses.

4. Do we need to download or export anything from ComplyHero before November 30?

No. We’ll take care of migrating your historical completion data.

What happens to your data

5. What information will be moved to Cerivo Advance?

We’ll migrate your existing users, department structure, courses, and historical course completion data to Cerivo Advance.

6. Will all our current courses be available in Cerivo Advance?

Yes. Your courses will be moved to Cerivo Advance as part of the migration, so you won’t need to rebuild your learning setup from scratch.

7. Will our historical course completion data still be available?

Yes. Your historical course completion data will be migrated to Cerivo Advance.

8. What happens to courses that are still in progress on November 30?

Progress within an unfinished course cannot be migrated. This means that if a learner hasn’t completed a course by November 30, they’ll need to start that course again in Cerivo Advance. We therefore recommend that learners finish any courses already in progress before the end of November where possible.

9. What happens to our existing course assignments and enrolments?

All existing enrollments will be migrated and will be available for learners. Note that all courses that were in progress at the time of migration will need to be started again.

December migration period

10. When will ComplyHero no longer be available?

You’ll be able to use ComplyHero until the end of November 30. From December 1, you and your learners will no longer have access while we migrate your organization to Cerivo Advance. We’ll contact you in January when your Cerivo Advance environment is ready and we can begin your onboarding.

11. Will we have access to ComplyHero or Cerivo Advance during December?

No. You won’t have access to either ComplyHero or Cerivo Advance during the migration period in December. We recommend planning any required learning accordingly and making sure courses that need to be completed in 2026 are finished in ComplyHero by November 30.

12. What if we need access to training or completion records during December?

You can export records before the November 30 deadline in case you need them during December. You can contact your CSM about accessing your ComplyHero data.
