User roles and tasks
Understand what each role can do so you can assign work with clarity and control.
User roles in Cerivo define how people can interact with tasks.
This helps you manage access, assign responsibility clearly, and ensure the right people can take action where needed.

No access
Users with No access cannot log in to Cerivo.
They also cannot be assigned tasks.
Limited access
Limited access is designed for users responsible for specific areas.
They can:
- view tasks where they are assignee or responsible
- complete those tasks
- create tasks for themselves
If they are set as responsible, they can:
- edit the task
- copy the task
They cannot:
- assign tasks to others
- delete tasks
Standard access
Standard access is suited for users working across the platform.
They can:
- view all tasks
- create tasks for themselves and others
- complete tasks they are assigned or responsible for
If they are set as responsible, they can:
- edit the task
- copy the task
They cannot:
- delete tasks
Superuser and Administrator access
Users with Superuser or Administrator access have full control over tasks.
They can:
- view, create, edit, copy, and delete tasks
- manage tasks across all areas of the platform
