What is Cerivo Advance?

Cerivo Advance is a learning and awareness add-on within the Cerivo platform. It helps teams build the skills and understanding they need to stay compliant with the compliance frameworks you can work with in Cerivo. Build the knowledge and confidence to turn your people, not just processes, ready for the compliance work. 

The courses are made by our in-house lawyers who have the expertise and know-how in all the compliance areas and frameworks in Cerivo and Cerivo Advance. The courses are interactive and engaging to ensure an effective and interesting learning path. You can deliver targeted training, reinforce key policies, and create clear visibility into progress across your organization. Course Catalogue

In Cerivo Advance, we aim to support your compliance work that you conduct in Cerivo with trainings in skills and awareness.

• GDPR & IT Security Basics (awareness)

The GDPR and IT Security Basics awareness training is for gaining a basic understanding about personal data in GDPR and information security on a level that everyone in the organisation should be aware of.

• GDPR Foundation (skills)

The skills course in GDPR foundation entails an introduction to the General Data Protection Regulation, where you will learn about the fundamental principles and roles, a deep dive to data protection and personal rules and data guidelines in practice in your daily work and in special situations, such as in case of a data breach.

• IT Security Foundation (skills+awareness)

This is a more advanced IT security awareness training for companies that need a high level of IT security due to legal requirements, such as ISMS. In the IT Security Foundation course, you will gain more in-depth knowledge about IT and data security. It's a natural add-on to the GDPR & IT Security Basics course.

• Responsible Use of AI (awareness)

This awareness training is for educating everyone in the organization about the responsible use of AI systems in every day life.

• GDPR & HR (skills)

This is a skills course specifically for compliance and HR departments, where you will learn about how GDPR affects the recruitment process and what rights and obligations do employees have.

• GDPR & IT Security for IT Department (skills)

This is a skills course specifically for compliance and IT departments, where you will learn about topics such as risk assessments, privacy by design, data processor agreements and IT security requirements for organizations.

• GDPR & Sales and Marketing (skills)

This is a skills course for compliance, sales, and marketing departments, where you will learn about the interplay between GDPR and commercial departments, including topics such as direct marketing and consent, CRM systems and personal data and the use of cookies.

• NIS2 for Upper Management (skills)

This skills course is for upper management in companies covered by NIS2, where the upper management will gain the skills required by the law.

• NIS2 for Employees (awareness)

This is an awareness training for companies covered by NIS2, where all employees will be educated about the requirements of NIS2 in the organization.

User Roles

 The platform is easy to navigate for its three different user roles: Superuser, Manager and Learner. The user roles are assigned on a user level, and a user can have multiple roles assigned to them. Read more about each role:

• Superuser: full administrative access of your organization's Cerivo Advance environment, including user management, course enrollment, and reporting across the entire organization.
• Manager: can view the progress of learners assigned to them as direct reports.
• Learner: can access courses, track their own progress, and view completed courses and certifications.
